[Day 0]: Early Reunion Dinner

January 26th, 2009

Left our house @ arnd 9:30AM – which is considered late lol

1st House Visit – Was late and therefore had to proceed to the next house to vist
Was going to take a picture of the door but on second thought…i thought it wld look rather sad lol It was simply a door on the 23rd floor with a padlock

2nd House Visit – Grandma/Grandpa’s House

Had breakfast there @ arnd…10:20AM

While waiting for the breakfast to be cooked by my grandma, we were watching the Australian Open (Tennis match) lol Hence the blue court on the TV screen.

Then came the time to eat and had to proceed to the 3rd house to visit –>

A simple meal but yet traditional (i think) lol, Vegetarian meal to be precise.

3rd House Visit - Great Grandma’s House

Only took pictures of the house when we were arriving and leaving lol so too bad no inside pictures.

Leaving to 4th House….

4th House Visit - Grandma/Grandpa’s House

Picture when a few ppl came, didnt take any pictures when a whole bunch of ppl came as I went back home to collect some stuff.

Curry, MeeSiam, Hokkien Mee, Prawn Fritters, Chicken Wings, Crispy….Fried…Something with Prawn in it lol, and Porridge.

Time to head home…

Tmrw, more houses to visit than tdy and hopefully will be able to wake up early Although we may skip a house as its quite tiring hehe.

A Sunday at ChinaTown

Last Sunday I ate with my aunt at a rather famous dessert store in the center of China Town. Behold, the biggest mango ice-cream I have so far ate with a generous amount of mangos. Although that day the waitress told us that the mango is a little sour…it turned out to be more than just ‘a little’. After we finished, we heard that they decided to stop selling the mango dessert probably due to the fact that many people complained…complained…and complained…like they always do anyways.

A place where one could take a picture (well its not the best quality since its from my phone, only 5MP) without being stepped on and pushed from all directions as China Town was really crowded lol.
