BBQ Chicken @ Tampines 1

June 28th, 2009 23:08

Location: #B1-06 Tampines 1

Tried a new restaurant last week, it is a halal place and had quite a number of people eating there. Overall, I think that the student price is quite worth it as two student price meals (S$6.70 each) is still cheaper than having one adult price meal (S$14.60). The only problem that we encountered in this restaurant was that we were told at first that we were able to change our fries to wedges but soon after, the manager came and said it was not possible. I must say their staff isn’t that knowledgeable about the place they are working in. :|

Enjoy the pics –> :)

Iced Chocolate
(front), Root Beer (back)

Black Pepper Chicken Steak (S$6.70 @ Student Price,
S$14.60 @ Normal Price)

Korean Charboiled Chicken (S$6.70 @ Student Price
, S$14.60 @ Normal Price)

Jerk BBQ Chicken (
S$6.70 @ Student Price, S$14.60 @ Normal Price)

Alright, so after the Japanese Restaurant at Illuma (here) the other day we decided to have some dessert before leaving :) The place is called Cheeky Chocolates and is on 1 floor below the top floor. They seem to have another branch at Thomson and I guess the Illuma one is the newer one base on the restaurant card I took (bellow). The staffs here were very friendly :)

Ebisboshi Shotengai @ Bugis Illuma

June 15th, 2009 02:31

Recently tried a Japanese Restaurant @ Bugis Illuma called - Ebisboshi Shotengai.

Firstly I must say that the experience of going to this restaurant is a die die must try especially if you are into Japanese Food. This is because with such advancement in this digital age we live in, Ebisboshi Shotengai lets you order your own food by using a pen and clicking on the food you want that is displayed on the menu (a one of a kind experience lol). Secondly, the food is not bad either :) Then again, if your not too sure just yet of wanting to try out this place, maybe these few pictures might be able to convince your tastebuds lol.
