This new and very innovative trolley designed by a group of students from Temasek Polytechnic might now do the trick in helping Supermarket’s here in Singapore from losing over $300,000 a year from trolley thefts.

A log of what happened yesterday -> Went over to David’s place down at Bayshore and I was like rlly rlly late
Was suppose to meet at 12PM but only arrived there at 1:40+ (bad bad bad). Decided to eat my Mcdonalds first before going as I felt it wasn’t nice bringing in food to ppl’s place when the host didn’t want anything
Last time i did this and it felt rather awkward haha. So we started up with some Mario…Party? on the Wii haha. Then next up was Rabbit Party Returns lol rlly fun stuff as it requires a lot of shaking of the controller haha. I only notice towards the end how in the last challenge round (the band one…something like rockband), how the combo system works…was trying all along to get the little symbols to align when actually you have to hit the symbols a little before it aligns with the actual spot to hit. Sort of confusing to explain with words lol.

Ahhh the Air-Con

Anyways, after playing the Wii we moved on to a board game I have never heard of before called ‘Compatibility’. Basically you pair up with other person and form a team. You roll and die and depending on the number and the topic card - a topic is then selected ie. ‘animals’. Everyone has a deck of cards and the cards are all similar to each other. The whole objective of the game is to try match the your partners cards as well as the order of which you think your partner will place the card depending on the selected topic. Every similar card regardless of the exact position earns the team 2 points to move on the board and every similar card with the exact position earns 3 points. The first team to reach the finish spot on the board is the winner.

Well the day started for me yesterday at about 12PM (the time I woke up). Watched a little TV & had my lunch (as per usual). Headed down to Plaza Singapura @ Dhoby Ghaut there to pass Jessica, a friend, her pair of tickets to the Lady Gaga Concert that is happening here in Singapore on August 12!
Well so after that I had to head down for dinner at Potong Pasir to have dinner with my Grandparents, brother, aunt, and cousin
We ordered the following dishes, the only dish I didnt take was the egg lol. If you were wondering where this place is, it is the Chinese stall (in the Coffeeshop) across the Indian Temple (there is only one Indian Temple in Potong Pasir).
My Recommendation is ordering the Thai Beancurd as that is my favorite
A little mix of spicy, sweet, and sour all in one with prawn and veggie in the centre. On top of that, all the sliced onions and cucumber :p

And finally to my cousin that probably ate the most chicken wings (which is also not bad) at this stall, munching away as he is seen below finishing the last chicken wing.

From tonight onwards I will slowly be adding in cards known as Animal Kaiser, which is a rather popular arcade card game here in Singapore to this page: http://chatterfield.com/animal-kaiser/. Good for buyers/collectors that are looking for specific cards. The majority of the cards here are most likely to be cards that we have duplicates of. So keep a look out at the above link or even on this post as I will but up a direct link from here to the Animal Kaiser Category page.

Well, my day started off at around 11:30AM and it was only about 12PM that I finally was awake ready to start off the ….mid-day…zzz. Will try to wake up earlier and perhaps sleep earlier from now on as the past few days I have been sleeping in the 4 – 6 AM range (which is bad) and not to mention the eyebags that are slowly appearing! So i guess I will work on that hmm.
So in the afternoon I checked my email and finally recieved instructions on where and when I could collect the Ocean Minded (footwear) vouchers I mentioned some time ago that I won. I called and told them that I was going to drop by at around 4PM. I left at around 3PM but I only reached there at around 4:40PM lol. Why you may wonder? Probably because I got lost in some way zzz. Before I left I checked online to see where the building was and didn’t know it was quite close to Toa Payoh Interchange, so I took the train to Braddel (one stop away from Toa Payoh) and then proceeded in taking a bus there…the only problem was that the bus number that I was told to take (via online) was not on any of the bustops nearby grrr. So I had to walk right back down to the MRT station and asked one of those passenger service assistant. The guy there was nice and quickly pulled out this locality map showing what bus and which bus stop to take. Another problem earlier on before I approached this kind staff was I did not know which side of the road to jump on the bus to, until i asked the staff. As I got on the bus, I knew it was quite a short distance (3 stops) and soon as I came out I was a little lost again lol. Which side of the building is the MCYS (Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports) buiding located, left or right? The solution and probably the life saver at that moment? - The Map/GPS application on my phone lol. Yes, you may laugh but it did finally bring me to my location as the building was right at the end of this particular road and all the way up a small hill. Sure, along the way I saw this sign that said MCYS -> but I couldn’t see the building from that direction and the walk was about a 6mins walk all the way in.
The building was sorta cool in a way, visitors had to scan their IC and you get to use these touch screen machines to enter your name and contact number and Voila! a sticker is printed out with your name (yes, I’m quite easily amused)! I guess there are these things as it is a Government building haha. Here is a pic. I took later on lol

After that I headed to my grandparents place for dinner that I grandmother cooked, simple dishes but delicious

Looking forward for some bowling tomorrow with some of my friends and I might post some pictures when I get back :p Until then…

Nothing much happening these days as every day is another hot & humid day in Singapore :( Therefore most of the time, well most likely 99% of the time I would be staying in at home. What have I been up to lately you may wonder? Watching TV from time to time and the rest would be either on Facebook playing some apps such as Bejeweled haha or playing Dragonica (an online mmorpg: www.dgn.sg ). Might try playing Mafia Wars in Facebook though since my brother is quite hooked up on the game lol. But I think after awhile I will lose interest as what happened to the other Facebook game I played for some time, Battle Stations (a Facebook App created by Singaporeans). I always find myself in the end still playing Bejeweld Blitz for some reason.
As for Dragonica, I sometimes find myself playing the game from midnight all the way until the early mornings. I like the game as it is somewhat similar to Maple Story but much cartooney + NOT 2-D Sidescrolling lol and well, some of my online friends play them who I have also played other games with some years ago. It is also quite addictive too as I always get this feeling of ‘If I don’t login and level my character, my friends might level faster than me and surpass my character by ten or even twenty lvls’
haha. I know, I am a sort of person that doesnt exactly like to lose deep down inside
. But hey, who likes losing anyways? :p
Other then Facebook-ing and Gaming I also have been trying to finish the TV Series ‘The Mentalist’ (currently on ep.9), which so far is great and perhaps…even better and funnier at times than… Lie to Me ? hmmmm.. Oh well, I guess I got to finish the whole of season one in order to determine if it is truly in my opinion better than Lie to Me as I felt that many issues were not developed in the latter tv-series. Maybe tomorrow I should try to get out of the house and do some exercise lol.
To end this post I shall share a picture of a T-shirt from Spade I got some time ago
The color green is nice rite? :p

Well, hope you enjoyed this post! Rate it if you want

Maxwell Food Centre & Tanjong Pagar Plaza

Headed down to Tanjong Pagar today with my Mum as she wanted to try the cake-likes from ‘Yummi Chiffons’ as she heard it was good from one of her friends. But before we went to buy we had to stop for lunch and so decided to eat at Maxwell Food Centre. Both of us had the prawn noodles lol but later packeted the famous Hainanese Chicken Rice there. It soon was office lunctime and thought I take a few snaps at the queue it formed haha. The Prawn Mee was not bad but maybe had a lot of noodles in it and btw it was S$3 for a bowl
The juices were nice thirst quenchers under the hot and humid weather in Singapore.
As for the Chicken rice which I had for my dinner lol, the chilli is d@mn spicy even though I put so little zzz.

Right, so after lunch we proceeded to buying what we originally came out for, the cakes and along the way muffins which we bought from there before at Beccarino. Muffins are nice from this stall and took another picture of the muffins when I got home.
Watched HP6 yesterday and I have to say it was a good show as it had quite a few funny moments. Liked the part where the girl dressed-up in the lion costume to cheer on for the team rofl. That shall be all for today :p
