Get ready as this blog is about to be flooded with more post!

First of all introducing a Nonya Buffet Restaurant called ‘Chilli Padi Nonya Cafe‘ along North Bridge Road. I went down with my mother that day for the Buffet Hi-Tea which starts at 3PM – 5:30PM @ the price of SGD 7.80+ (per person). For this particular branch, there is not many tables inside so I suggest if you plan on going for the Hi-tea, you either go there early or make a reservation as when we got there (around 3:15) there were already a few people in there.

The Buffet has a range of Peranakan food and everyday of the week they change their spread a bit. When we went there, there were; Penang Laksa, Chee Kuay, Rojak, Fresh Fruits, Desserts, a variety of Peranakan Kuay Kuays (lol), and a little more.

To be honest, I prefer the Dinner Buffet more as the spread was more (If I remembered correctly). But hey, we were looking forward for a light meal anyways. What I recommend trying here is the Chee Kuay because they put mushrooms inside their Chee Kuay unlike the normal ones you find elsewhere in Singapore.
